Annandale Shops - Update

Just to let everyone know that the post about Annandale Shops has now been demolished. The location of these shops were on Parramatta Road, Sydney on the corner of Nelson Street.

Other than that, a few people have updated me on other places which I will share later. I'm not sure how many people follow this site, but please keep checking this site and I will provide more updates.

Edwin Davies Flour Mill

The old decaying facade of the Edwin Davies Flour mill in Sydney CBD. A wide, imposing building, the heritage listed facade is being reused in a planned redevelopment. Developer signs are now everywhere on this building and it's only just a matter of time this building will be fully transformed.

Callan Park, Rozelle

Another well-known place to find subjects of urban decay. Many of abandoned buildings in Callan Park are located outside the Sydney College of Arts and around the cricket field. The fenced off remains of some sandstone cottages just outside the border of the college is probably the most appealing but has lots of graffiti as well. The rest are just large abandoned brick houses which are locked up and have signs warning of asbestos. I will update this post with more photos soon.

Annandale shops

A group of decaying shops in Annandale. Don't have much history on these buildings which have been idle for a few years.
